The original mod can be found via this link. I didn't create any of the content featured in this mod. All the credits go to jdredalert and his team. So like the title says, what are some gameplay and weapon mods that you like Ive always really enjoyed the work of PillowBlaster and Terminus, so mods like The Trailblazer, Guncaster, High Noon Drifter, GMOTA, etc, have been personal favorites of mine. There are two files: one only changes the weapon sprites, while another one also adds sounds of footsteps and spent casing from the original mod. Yeah just putting that there so the obvious answer is out of the way. The game should be launched with the new weapon sprites. Drag it over the gzdoom.exe (or whatever source port you're using) and then drop. It only changes the looks of the weapons and nothing else.ĭownload the file. The only issue is that it also added a lot of (in my view) unnecessary things like monster variations, alternative textures for some objects, glowing barrels, new sounds, etc.

I found a perfect candidate: jdredalert's "Angled Doom". I was looking for a mod that would replace the original centered weapon sprites with the "angled" ones, like those you find in something like Duke Nukem 3D or modern FPS games.
